The 11th Annual Summit Wildlife Auction, held on Saturday, 26 September 2026 at the Drostdy Hotel in Graaff-Reinet, attracted strong participation both at the venue and online.

Some of the notable sales included:

The auction also continued Summit Wildlife's annual charity initiative, with nine charity lots raising a combined R352,000 in support of local charities.
Behind every successful auction is an enormous amount of work and commitment. Our guest sellers deserve tremendous credit for the genetics they bring to the auction – genetics that are the result of many years of breeding, investment, careful selection and dedication. Many of our sellers also invest significant time and effort into marketing their own animals and genetics, and their contribution is an important part of the overall success of the auction.
There is also a tremendous amount of work that goes into an auction from the Summit Wildlife side – from photography, presentation and marketing to creating exposure, building relationships, communicating with buyers and bidders, and ultimately creating confidence in the auction. We work hard to ensure that every guest seller and every lot receive the attention and effort it deserves. Summit’s success has likewise been built over many years. This year’s auction is another chapter in that journey. The continued support from buyers, bidders and guest sellers, and the fact that breeders continue to choose Summit as a platform to showcase their animals, is something we are incredibly proud of.
Summit Wildlife expressed its sincere appreciation to its sponsors, guest sellers, buyers, bidders and supporters for their participation and continued support, particularly those who attended the auction despite the rainy weather.
